Smart speakers are more accurately called smart home voice controllers with speakers included. The choice between Amazon Echo, Google Nest, and Apple HomePod is primarily an ecosystem decision, not an audio quality decision.

Choose a smart speaker based on which ecosystem your existing smart home devices or planned future devices use.
